18Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (BSB)OUR MISSION

First off, Daniel Powell is a true character....! Of course he is writing this though, but you can ask those around him. He grew up in a broken home from a very young age. Parents separated when he was 7 due to an alcoholic and abusive father. Mother remarried, but his older brother fell into a life of alcohol, partying, and gang related activity. His sister and Brother were really all he had to look up to as his mother worked hard to provide a stable home for her children on her own before remarrying. This is what he had to look up to.
Sex, drugs, and alcohol was introduced and deeply embedded into his mind and thoughts. Things that would effect his thoughts and actions through out his childhood, teenage years, and early into his adult age. Things such as skateboarding, freestyle dirt bmx, mx, snowboarding, or just being a dare devil was his way out. It was a way to turn those thoughts off temporarily and experience a glimpse of relaxation and freedom. It was not until November 21, 2010 that he would call on Jesus to truly understand what the Way Out was. This love he experienced he wanted to let others know. The thought of combining the extreme sports you love while representing Jesus and showing that love to others is what really led him to create Way Out Apparel Co. There is one Way Out, and HIS name is JESUS!
